Sliding upper lip provides travel of up to 12.5mm (.500"). Sliding lip designs are frequently used when product thickness is always above 2mm (.080") and materials are thermally stable. EDI's FastGap lip adjusting system is commonly included, because of the convenience of rapid on-line gap control. For frequent width changes, EDI's Fast Deckle system prevents costly down-time.
