Patch Coater

Liberty patch coaters are custom designed to work in your interrupted coating process. Diverse products coated by Liberty dies in this manner include ceramic capacitors, medical implant layers and photo-optical devices.

Typically, patch coaters are used in laboratory development work, small production runs, and other situations in which it is more practical to work with a sheet of substrate than a web.

Size permitting; all equipment is cart-mounted. Standard Liberty fixed lip slot dies are used, typically mounted in a vertical orientations so that a sheet of substrate, held in place by a vacuum table or clamps, may be curtain coated.
