A theoretical discussion of the benefits of fixed lip slot coating is helpful, but there is always a gap between theory and practice.  WetWare makes it easy to bridge that gap by demonstrating our equipment at work in your process, usually on your coating line.

Working side by side with an EDI Application Engineer, you can both prove out slot die technology and learn what new possibilities it can bring.  WetWare also serves as a basis for EDI’s ability to offer a performance guarantee on your coating system.

Most of our WetWare work is done right on the customer’s existing coating line, using EDI equipment that adapts readily to coating lines made by a variety of OEMs.

Initial meeting is held to review current process, establish desired process outcomes and set a schedule.

All needed equipment for single or dual slot die coating is shipped by EDI to your production site.

EDI Senior Application Engineer is on-site for set-up and coating trials at a time convenient for you.

1-2 days of trial work demonstrates feasibility of using fixed lip slot die coating method, and provides input for your system requirements.
