Liberty Fixed Lip Slot Die

EDI’s Liberty fixed lip slot dies are simple and precise coating devices that are used for a wide range of products in the paper industry, medial field, electronics, solar panels and flat panel displays.  When surrounded by the proper equipment, Liberty dies yield excellent coating results.

By using an internal shim to establish the slot gap our dies can handle fluid viscosity from 1 to over 100,000 cps.  The coating thickness can be as low as 1 micron (0.000039”) to as much as 1.27mm (0.050”) making the fixed lip slot die a very versatile tool.
