EPC™ (Edge Profile Control)

EDI had developed the world's most technology advanced line of extrusion dies, specifically for the extrusion coating market- Coating and Laminating Dies with Edge Profile Control (EPC). Full Internal Deckling permits rapid and streamlined width adjustment during operation. Motorization of the deckle drive system is optional. Rack-and-pinnion driven deckle blade systems allow for precise and repeatable edge profile control. EDI's unique Gland-Packing endseal system ensures leak-free operation and allows for convenient routine maintenance. An adjustable flex lip provides the operator with the ability to fine-tune the coatweight uniformity across the width of the substrate.
