Custom Engineered Dies
Every die from EDI is custom engineered. Our engineers work with you to determine the manifold design, die body materials, flow surfaces, temperature controls, thickness adjustment, deckling, and other elements to best meet the needs of the application. We have designed, built, and installed a die for every flat-die extrusion and converting technique including cast film, oriented film, extrusion coating, fluid coating, sheet, and many more.
Besides supplying die systems directly, we also design and build them for turnkey processing lines supplied by the world’s major equipment manufacturers.
